Touroff, Nissan

(1877-1953)
   American educator. He served as director of the Bureau of Hebrew Education in Palestine from 1914 to 1919. He was dean of the Boston Hebrew Teachers' College (1921-26), and taught at the Jewish Institute of Religion.
